Links with Higher Education
Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) have been charged by the Government with forging closer links with the business community.
By placing outreach workers to act as brokers of university services to industry, we have been able to substantially extend University Technology Transfer – helping them fulfil their obligations. We offer an advisory service to HEIs to ensure they build appropriate bridges to local business, using the most appropriate intermediaries.
pbas will, based on practical experience of a methodology that works, discuss with universities how they might engage better with SMEs. We will if required manage programmes that target:
- The number of SMEs you wish to engage with.
- The increase in performance of these businesses as a result of the relationship.
- The commercial worth of the resources the SMEs are able to exploit successfully.
